Pingjiang Xinxiangyu Food Co., Ltd. to Participate in the 110th Sugar and Wine Fair

To support the construction of our city’s “1+3+X” modern industrial system and to help food industry enterprises in our city achieve high-quality development, from March 18 to 22, Fu Qianzhou, President of the Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade, led a delegation comprising leading and well-known enterprises from our city’s food sector to participate in the 110th National Sugar and Wine Products Fair held in Chengdu. Yang Zhengwen, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President, as well as the head of the Trade & Investment Department and heads of the trade promotion councils from relevant counties and districts, also took part in the event.

The exhibiting enterprises from our city are showcasing their products in a specially designed booth at Hall 14 of the Leisure Food Pavilion in the Western Expo City, featuring a unified decoration style and exhibit layout that seamlessly integrates Yueyang’s unique elements and culinary flavors. The “Yueyang Food Code” handbook is being distributed on-site, and visitors can sample local delicacies such as Pingjiang spicy strips, dried tofu, Miluo sweet rice wine, and zongzi. The event has attracted numerous business visitors eager to discuss potential collaborations. Over the three-day exhibition, we welcomed more than 8,000 professional buyers, and on-site sales, contract signings, and letters of intent totaled over 40 million yuan. The booth of Hunan Xinxingyu Food Co., Ltd. was particularly popular, with on-site sales of the Junzai series spicy strips reaching 1.2 million yuan and nearly 300 new prospective customers expressing interest in future cooperation.

It is understood that the National Sugar and Wine Products Fair, which originated in 1955, is one of China’s longest-running and most prestigious large-scale professional trade shows, often referred to as the “barometer” of China’s food industry. This year’s Sugar and Wine Fair embodies the “integration of exhibition and city” concept and adopts a “two venues, one city” model, utilizing both the China West International Expo City and the Century City New International Convention & Exhibition Center. The exhibition area spans 320,000 square meters, featuring 11 major exhibition zones and 15 specialized sections. Over 6,600 exhibitors are showcasing more than 300,000 products from 45 countries and regions.
