The Second Plenary Meeting of the First Session of the Pingjiang County Leisure Food Industry Association and the 2024 Spring Reunion Gala were held with great solemnity.

Peng Fangjian, Deputy Secretary of the Pingjiang County Party Committee and County Mayor; Lu Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Pingjiang County Party Committee; Ling Xiaoming, Director of the Standing Committee of the Pingjiang County People’s Congress; Xiong Jiangxin, Chairman of the Pingjiang County Political Consultative Conference; Zhang Shengcai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Pingjiang County Party Committee and Director of the County Party Committee Office; Qiu Wenjuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Pingjiang County Party Committee and Vice County Mayor; Xiang Xiaoyan, Vice Chairman of the Pingjiang County Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the County Federation of Industry and Commerce; Liu Changjiang, Director of the Pingjiang High-tech Zone Management Committee; as well as heads of relevant departments from the County Government Office, the County Bureau of Science, Technology and Information Industry, the County Bureau of Commerce and Grain, the County Administration for Market Regulation, and the County Civil Affairs Bureau—along with Sheng Zhongwei, Executive Secretary-General of the Zhengzhou Pingjiang Chamber of Commerce, and over 300 members of the Federation—gathered together to discuss and share ideas on the future of the food industry and warmly welcome the upcoming Spring Festival.
The second plenary session of the members was opened to the sound of the majestic national anthem. The meeting was chaired by Zhong Suyu and Lin Ying.

The meeting elected new directors and supplemented the positions of two vice-presidents and three executive vice-presidents. Liu Runnan from Hunan Dadao New Materials Co., Ltd. and Yu Guixing from Hunan Feiteng Food Co., Ltd. were elected as vice-presidents of the first council of the Pingjiang County Leisure Food Industry Association.
Tan Jiyou from Pingjiang Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., Liu Jianbo from Pingjiang Shangpin Packaging Co., Ltd., and Fang Liang from Hunan Xinxiangwei Packaging Co., Ltd. were elected as Executive Vice Chairpersons of the first Council of the Pingjiang County Leisure Food Industry Association.

Chairman Zhou Jinsong presented plaques to the newly elected Vice Chairmen and Executive Vice Chairman.

Finally, Secretary-General Tong Xiangping delivered a concluding speech. Standing at the forefront of promoting the development of the food industry, building a food industry worth hundreds of billions of yuan, and establishing a new positioning as the “Capital of Spicy Leisure Snacks in China,” he emphasized that we must closely align with our new goals, seize the momentum, and build upon our existing strengths while tapping into our latent advantages and amplifying our distinctive strengths. We must confront new challenges head-on, adapt scientifically and proactively, and embrace change with determination. We must also seize new opportunities and act accordingly, achieving “overtaking on curves” and “changing lanes to overtake,” thus opening up entirely new growth paths. Moreover, we must translate our aspirations into concrete actions—acting boldly and decisively, embracing openness and inclusiveness, and fostering collaborative development. Between enterprises themselves, we must reject malicious competition and promote honest, civilized cooperation. Within the same industry, companies should support and leverage each other’s strengths, creating synergies and forging new types of partnership relationships. Let us practice brand thinking, entrepreneurial thinking, and industry-wide thinking; continuously improve product quality, strengthen our brands, and expand our contributions. Seize every opportunity, take on big challenges, and accomplish great things.
