Attending court hearings as observers, witnessing enforcement actions, conducting on-site visits, participating in symposiums, and attending events... The two-level courts in Yueyang have been consistently and precisely enhancing their communication and liaison with NPC deputies and CPPCC members. They proactively accept the legal oversight of the People’s Congress and the democratic supervision of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, earnestly listen to their opinions and suggestions, and continuously strive to enhance judicial credibility. Today, let’s take a moment to hear the voices of these deputies and committee members.
Tang Minghui
Member of the CPPCC Committee of Yueyang City, Chairman of Xinxiangyu Food Co., Ltd. of Pingjiang County
Dedicated to building “dispute-free” village and town communities, the court has established eight dispute-resolution workstations—organized by region, type, and priority—covering areas such as tourism-related cases, traffic accident cases, family disputes, and commercial disputes. Tang Minghui praised the Pingjiang Court for its active participation in dispute-resolution efforts.
In recent years, the Pingjiang Court has leveraged its litigation service center to establish a multi-party collaborative mediation mechanism in conjunction with the Justice Bureau, township-level comprehensive governance offices, law firms, and legal service agencies. It has assembled a team of mediation experts, set up pre-litigation and online mediation platforms, and proactively intervened at an early stage to facilitate pre-litigation settlements between the parties, thereby resolving a large number of disputes and conflicts in a cost-effective and highly efficient manner.
